Introduction Hello, The first leg of the British/Czech Rep BDA Youth Exchange took place in May 2004. Each of the British participants wrote reports about various events within their exchange. You will find their words enjoyable, interesting and funny too! You will also be read their evaluations, both qualitatively and quantitatively, via the links further down the contents list below. I am grateful to have had the great experience of organising a programme for 28 young deaf people, both British and Czech Rep, for the first leg of this reciprocal, bilateral exchange. I really enjoyed myself and it is really satisfying to know that there were many positive and successful outcomes from this leg of the exchange. I would like to thank the British and Czech participants for their enthusiasm and for their participation in fundraising. Thanks also go to the British Counil and the Sixty Six Club for their financial support.
